Brian J. Beaudoin, PT, OCS

Brian began working in physical therapy in 1977 while an undergraduate student at UC Santa Cruz. After receiving his Certificate in Physical Therapy, he completed two year-long orthopedic residency programs. He has owned and operated In Motion since 1996 and enjoys treating athletes of any age or skill level. His clients have included elite, professional level and Olympic athletes, including current and former NFL and NBA players, members of American Ballet Theater, as well as professional level tennis players. He especially enjoys working with high school athletes with special expertise in rehabilitating injuries associated with football, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, track and lacrosse.

He has worked closely with and enjoys collaborating with a wide network of physicians associated with UCSF, St. Marys Hospital, California-Pacific Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, Marin General as well as Stanford Medical Center. He has studied and worked with a number of outstanding physical therapy master clinicians including Brian Mulligan, Shirley Sahrmann, David Butler, Diane Lee, Greg Johnson, Mark Bookhout, Joe Farrell, Olaf Evajenth, Jeff Ellis, Richard Jackson, Meredith Nordschow and Margaret Anderson.

On the weekends Brian enjoys road and mountain biking, hiking, swimming, backpacking and relaxing with his family.

 

Heather Rourke Schlueter, PT

Heather began her career in physical therapy working at Active Care, a cutting edge outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice associated with Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley CA. Later she worked with Michael Go and Mel Young at Embarcadero Physical Therapy in the Financial District on San Francisco. She completed 2 year long orthopedic residency programs with Michael Moore and Dennis Morgan at Folsom Physical Therapy. She is equally adept at rehabilitating both spinal and extremity orthopedic problems with a special expertise in spinal stabilization training and neuromuscular re-education. She is able to quickly to identify the sources of patient's pain complaints and develop treatment plans which effectively manage these problems quickly and efficiently. She is master educator and especially enjoys working one-on-one with her clients to train them in self management and care.

On the weekends Heather enjoys running, swimming, cycling and spending time with her family.
